The Seventh annual poetry face-off

El Jones is a poet and teacher. She was captain of the Halifax slam team, winners of the National Championship at the 2007 Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. El has been featured at the Vancouver Poetry slam, performed in the Atlantic Fringe Festival, and has had her work published in The Coast. She is currently a Teaching Fellow in the Foundation Year Program at the University of King's College in Halifax.
